Does this Remind you of The Tv Show Angel?
I'm not saying this tv show couldn't be unique in it's own way if it had survived instead of finding the grave.
Yet it does remind me of Angel with the whole Tall male vampire dressing in black, helping out people in a big city, and a Good Darkness character.
