Editing/GhostBusters 4 demons?

who else thinks this show was basically Ghostbusters rebranded!!

Formulaic shows like this always have a shelf-life and TBH i was surprised how good the rest of this final season was, thinkin they had no place left to go.

another thing
I like video editing so I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but the cuts between different shots in this show are quite often poor! So blatant when they use different takes together!
any-1 notice this?

This show had a lot of different pop culture influences. I remember reading that the creators were influenced heavily by comedy/horror/sci-fi movies like Ghostbusters and Shaun of the Dead.... to name a few, but they didn't rip them off.

I don't really notice the editing on the show but considering the fact that they were on CW and probably had a pretty light budget after spending a lot of money on special effects, I think they had a good excuse.
