I'm pissed this was cancelled!!!
I wonder if there is anyway they could make a movie to tie up the loose ends? I don't know why they got rid of it being that it one of the few original shows on TV now. It's a shame.

I don't think the people 'in charge' actually watch the shows on their network.
TEAM ALICE
MADNESS as you know, is like GRAVITY. All it takes is a little..PUSH.
The Joker
It's pretty stupid that they cancelled it. As the OP said, it's one of the few original things on TV.
I'm just getting sick of seeing new seasons of The Hills, One Tree Hill and all that crap coming out, knowing full well that as soon as something decent and entertaining comes along, it'll be cast aside for the next generic show.
To make it worse, here in the UK we hardly get word of a show being cancelled, it just disappears from our channels and nobody knows anything. I knew Reaper was coming but it wasn't until the episode ended that the woman doing the voiceover for E4 said "And we wont ever know what happens next as it's been cancelled!"
I feel really bad for everyone who'd been watching and didn't already know that was coming.
I feel exactley da same,.. dey shud hav rounded it up in an extra episode instead of cancelling it without knowing wat happened to the characters,. prison break got a whole new season to round it up n finish characters lives , o well :(
Jack Sparrow: Why is the rum always gone?
Oh... that's why.
The main problem I think is because they only see ratings, and they're never accurate - Not by a longshot!
Also, I think they only keep track of viewers in the U.S. and not the rest of the world.
What's really destroying series in general is the commercials, and indirectly screwing with ppl.
This calls for an explaination;
When they're showing (teen-)whore-series like Beverly Hills whatsthenumber?, and Sex and the City, they're appealing to our nature, as in "Oh, how exiting it is with sex", and womans with their nack for gossip; They just can't get enough of it.
Also, the other side of this is that these series tells us (all) how what to wear, what hairstyle (How many womans didn't go for Alyssa Milano's hairstyle with thinned out tops!!?), what to eat. Look at the average-obese.. Ehh.. Man...
All hidden commercials everywhere (McDonalds, Coca Cola, Burger King etc.)
The latest craze however is all those reality-shows. Everyone's just has to see what happens, who's fighting who (Jerry Springer-Show was huge I think?)
But, as we all know, secretly, womans rule the world, from behind. They tell you to mow the lawn, you either slap her (And she's submissive and enjoys it, you never know... Anywhoo:) or you go "-Yes dear! Anything else?".
If you want to watch that series you've been waiting for the whole week, and it just so happens it coincides with your spouses favorite-show, your ass is grass and the TV-stations just keeps trying to snag prime-time on all the other channels, so you're F.U.B.A.R.
That's one of the reasons I think this was cancelled.
Read somewhere on Google that this series might continue, and probably with a smaller budget if so, and maybe out of pity of all the men working late night-shifts...

Good points! It's not going to continue though because all the actors are attached to other things now I guess. A movie would be great but I'm not really sure if it would happen. I heard something about a comic book but that was it, I can't find out if it's ever coming out.
shareIf US TV showed a new series in the same time section, without showing repeats in between, (like they started to do with Stargate ie 10 episodes at a time) then you would have less problem. Odyssey 5 was a strange and interesting show, but too complicated to try to remember what happened on the last new episode, 3 bloody weeks ago!
shareThankfully, I don't either live in us or watch TV. Too much cluttering with commercials.
I was bad when I was a kid, however little we had here in Sweden which came about the late 80's.
I think it's horrifying now.
What's it going to be in like 10-20 years from now?
Sheesh. Commercials have only become worser with time, and it's not going to become any better. Not to mention the whole sex-aspect. When I was a kid, sex was taboo, naughty and not spoken about. Now one hardly reacts to seeing a boob, covered or not. It's just a boob, like thousands one has seen before.
Yet, they manage to surprise you in some movies (Crank 2 for instance where you get to see, if only for a moment, a bare female rear, up (really!) close).
Anywhoo, TV's bad for ya! It rottens your brain and tells you how to live your life. Ppl. were born with free will, but it's easily put aside when the need to fit in, being a part of the herd... Well, vanity is humanity's worst enemy.
That and money. There's nothing else on this popcorn that we call earth, that has done more harm than that has!
By popcorn I meant from an universal point of view:
Imagine earth blowing (Technically it'd implode) up from a really zoomed out view, and I'd bet it'd look like a freshly popped popcorn then disappear into oblivion.

This show was great, I thought it was coming back as a midseason replacement again. Sigh, I will miss it, especially Sock
It's eleven o'clock, who are you looking to hook up with, Spike and Drusilla?
It's always the good, original ones that get cancelled. .
A movie would be good, it would definitely be worth watching.
