I blame the Writer's Strike

I think the Writer's Strike in the 07-08 year was really harmful to new shows, Reaper being one of them. The sudden introduction of new shows, then the hiatus, caused people to forget about them. The same thing happened to another show that premiered the same year, did 2 seasons, then got cancelled. Pushing Daises.

I agree, it hurt a lot of shows. Even shows that survived past the writers' strike, like "Heroes", never really recovered from it. I wonder how many people lost their jobs due to declining ratings after the writers' strike.
