What's with Sam's teleporting?

So we all know that the devil has the power to instantly appear anywhere, as well as being able to teleport people (or at the very least, just Sam) anywhere instantly. What I'm wondering is how no one noticed that this was happening. I mean, in mid season 1, Ted installed security cameras throughout the Work Bench. Therefore every time Sam magically disappeared, it would have been on camera. I'm still only on episode 13 of season 1, but I have to ask... how has no one in the show noticed anything yet?

I have no enemies, but am intensely disliked by my friends.

Nobody ever watches the CCTV. They only remember it when something goes wrong and hope it doesn't show they'd screwed up somehow.

I guess you could argue that the Devil would have the power to augment reality to make people see whatever he wants them to see, therefore he could make it so that in anyone who is observing the cameras mind, Sam would still be on camera or they just plain wouldn't register that he had disappeared.
