You can run it a low settings with no aa, 800X600 res, and in DX9 mode (NOT DX10). That should get you into the upper 20's fps. Your gpu will run it, but barely. Either way the game runs like crap on anything but the beefiest systems. Even 8800 gts have trouble running the game at very high settings. If you want to play this game on very high settings (no aa of course) with no problems, then you're going to have to get an 8800GTX (this is all desktop stuff btw, you cant get it for a laptop), a dual core with @ at least 2.4 ghz, 2-4 gigs of RAM (must be DDR2 800mhz+ with AT LEAST 5-5-5-15 timings, ideally you want to get something like corsair dominator 1066mhz ddr2). With a mobo that supports DDR2 8500 and a hard drive, sound card, ect... It's probably going to cost you at least $2000, IF YOU BUILD IT YOURSELF. If you buy something like that its going to end up costing like 3 grand. Ohh yeah, the games pretty much just a tech demo, so you're just wasting your money if your playing at anything other then high settings. It's really just a far cry clone with a fancy new graphics engine.

Not sure what all the fuss is about with Crysis needing a super computer to run it. I admit I've a decent PC but is it really that resource hungry?

Core 2 E6600 @ 3.2Ghz
4Gb 800Mhz OCZ Ram
GeForce 8800GTS 640Mb
Vista Home Premium

Runs fine on my 37" Toshiba in native 1920 by 1080 resolution with all settings on very high.

Got to the Core level - my pc starting crying for its mum. Quickly drop to high settings and carry on.....

Sarcasm - The lowest form of wit, but also the funniest
