For those who have played each to a significant degree, which do you prefer and why?
shareCrysis is way better than the sequel.
Crysis felt like a wide open world, whereas Crysis 2 is basically a corridor shooter.

Crysis is the better game in regard to the core-gameplay and the tactical
freedom for the player. Crysis 2 is more true to Yerli`s concept of a
cinematic fps,more of a playable actionflic,popcornstyle,with impressive
cinematics but dumbed down gameplay.
Crysis had the luck to inherit the gameplay from Far Cry,thats basicly gone
in Crysis 2.
