Doesn't the title give the PLOT away?
You know, 'new daughter', hint hint....she's not what she seems.........maybe she's 'evil' or what have you......or she's DEAD.....

haha i thought the same thing specially when thye mentioned something about a mound in the yard or something. I can just imagine the big reveal being that shes been dead all along. That's pretty lame.
Yeah, that would have been lame!
By the way, I watched it today and this is a pretty good movie.
"What this country needs right now... is a Doctor."

It doesn't give away the whole plot but I still think they should have used another title to make it less obvious...
shareIt doesn't give away the entire plot, but it gives you an idea of the movie just like any other movie title.
shareYou're correct. It's a terrible idea for a title, like posting a spoiler in the title.
shareYeah Jurassic Park did the same thing you knew right away it was going to be about a park with dinosaurs.
Seriously? From the title you can tell she'll be abducting by deity like ant creatures.
Hopefully someone important reads these boards
I did NOT think the title gave the story away at all, (my mind just might have been somewhere else, because after watching it, I do see the connection...) but I DO think that the title did a disservice to the interest factor of the film, also listing it under "supernatural horror" was misleading and incorrect in my book. This to me was more a science fiction, and a suspense thriller, film. I was thinking, by the title, this was going to be SO LAME! So it sat in my NetFlix queue for a long time!!! It just seemed to spell out something that's already been done a million times before, and retelling a story that has been told before, or elements from it, doesn't have to mean, boring or predictable!! But the title, category and description did not help the film at all. I thought this was a GREAT movie! VERY WELL DONE! And I got it, from beginning to end, and it will remain a favorite! Great story!! Great acting! I appreciated the limited special affects and gore too!
sharehaha yeah. they do it all the time with movies like that... i mean, you did all that work and got too lazy with the title...?
