(After his wife, Debi, is killed by a burglar during a home invasion, retired CID investigator, Aaron Fletcher, is determined to find the killer, after they escaped his home and the police. When Aaron learns of multiple break-ins all over his neighborhood, he comes to find out it's a small gang who work in teams of two and often four when they hit rich people. With no help from the local authorities, Aaron devises a plan to capture the crooks by selling his home and spending every last penny he has to buy a large, tempting house to lure them in. What Aaron doesn't know is that the crew's deadly leader, Wes, has a history of violence, theft, and someone higher up the ladder is pulling his strings, and Aaron just might be a target of personal concern. In the end, after he's brutally killed all but Wes, Aaron comes to learn that Wes' mastermind is his own father, Frank Darrow. Frank was a highly awarded Army Colonel who Aaron was investigating for illegal arms trading with a foreign enemy. The insurmountable evidence against Frank had him dishonorably discharged from the military and he served 10 years in prison. His wife committed suicide from all the heartache. Naturally, Frank wanted Aaron to suffer slowly, so he and Wes, also a military-trained killer, put their revenge plot to motion.)
"You askedt me to find the son of a bitch, sir. I never thought the son of a bitch would be you."
