1. Nudity is not illegal, even when involving minors. Sexual nudity is when involving minors. That scene was not sexual at all.
2: even if it had been sexual, it didnt show anything but her back. Backs are not considered nudity...
well I'm just used to working on a film with about 20 other people standing around ... I just thought it would be a bit uncomfortable and I thought the director sounded kinda weird about it during his commentary because he did call it a 'sexy scene'.

I mean it's safe to assume at this point in the movie that she knew the creatures were out there, she knew they were males, and she had relations with one or several of them possibly several times (judging by her continuously going to the mound and coming back dirty yet unharmed)...her bare front was facing the window which means that she was fully comfortable exposing herself to them as if she was one of them. Perhaps it was a bit of enticement for future encounters, similar to a mating ritual...

Lighten up. It isn't as though she did full frontal, and even if she had, so what? Thora Birch went topless in 'American Beauty' when she was 16 and the sky didn't fall. Brooke Shields bared all in 'Pretty Baby' when she was only 12 and the world didn't end. It's just nudity. It won't kill you. If it offends you, don't watch it.

shareThe girl had her arms curled up in front of her, which would have covered her breasts from the view of surrounding crew members. And in addition to that, she likely did have pasties on (as someone pointed out earlier). I'm sure they got that shot pretty quickly and handed her a robe.
I was actually impressed by how non-exploitive the film is, given some of (dark and icky) sexual aspects of the story. They show almost nothing, save a little implied nudity, and yet the viewer is given a clear idea of what is going on. I think the filmmakers did an excellent job with balancing narration and tastefulness.

I am not sure if I had seen this movie before, as I did not remember any of it. I watched it recently and wondered about that scene also. I say it was a body double/adult actress. Ivana's are are thin/frail, and this actresses arms looked a bit bigger/more muscular to me. You can't go by the body shape elsewhere and the jeans fit, as females tend to mature quicker these days. Must be something in the food/drinks.
