I don't understand the ending

The mound walker is behind the little boy, yet we see it walking in the reflection of the picture how is that possible unless it was 2 of the creatures one walking toward him from the mound and another that was in the house when the mound exploded.

Is that it, there were 2 of them one coming from the front and the other behind?

There were multiple walkers in the last scene. All coming from different directions. I guess only a few of them were underground at the time of the explosion.

I just watched the ending again and saw mound walkers on the house.
