Beautiful explanation of what The Happening is all about

The trees, the toxins, the nuclear plants, the winds...none of that were meant to be taken literally. They were just symbols, Night Shyamalan's movie is all about us, how we sometimes struggle to cope with our life and how we can survive if we show faith. Yes, but in Signs the characters acted way more naturally.... The science teacher talking all nicey, nice to the plant and other scenes here ruined it and turned it into an unintentional comedy.

Oh, and Mark Wahlberg's porcine nose with giant nostrils didn't help
