7.1 How the hell?

I really really wanted to like this film, and I was willing to accept some major flaws, after all it is spidey. I accepted it had a hard act to follow after the excellent Sam Raimi films (Excluding 3) and that they had to try other characters. I also accept that everyone is different, but after the dust has settled, usually the ratings start to even out and you get a better gauge. But 7.1 is a joke, I accepted everything in the film UNTIL the crane scene, it was this that made me read up about jumping the shark and its meaning. After that scene I then reassessed everything I had seen and realised that it was average at very best.

I agree, score should be much lower. Tasm2 should be on imdb's bottom 100 : P

I would give it a 7.5/10 It was an ok movie imo. I really like the cast and the feel of the movie

At first I had given it a 6, but the more I thought about the less sense any of it made. So I changed it to a 5.

I gave it a 5 too, only because it is watchable and you can follow it and it has some sci-fi. It is competent, yet it is definitely far from special.

I thought this movie was great, yes it retold the origin, but it did it so much better than Raimi did. I hated the crane scene, but the web-swinging looked fantastic, it would have been a lot better if Spider-Man had just mustered the strength to take the leap and swing down the street without the cranes.

It's the second movie that had way too many problems.

If you've never seen the first Spidey film where everything is done better than yeah maybe a 7 but having seen the food Spider-Man movies. This is a 5.

Caitlyn Jenner is brave and courageous not a man who killed someone that would be ridiculous.

I gave it a 1, and it deserves 4.8/10.

It's really "that" bad, I hope when the next reboot comes out. It will low rate this one and TASM 2, to the rate what both deserve.

I think both Webb's two and Raimi's first two Spider-Man films were good. Don't have to like some to dislike the others.

7/10 is a reflection of paid reviews and votes maybe, i personally haven't met a single human being who saw it and didn't absolutely *beep* hate it.
the *beep* direction is only second to the second installment of the series(thank god that it was also the final installment)
