Yes, there were a few times when he appeared to be sweating (or engulfed by flames), so I suppose he might have been hot at times.

Depends. The scenes where he is whole or the scenes where he's attached to some sort of life-support-cum-stasis module and has half of his head, most of his lower body and one of his arms missing while the holes in his body make gurgling sounds? Because the latter not so much.
