These people don't understand what SOURCE CODE is... [Possible SPOILERS]

and they must think their viewers are just as stupid! It is very insulting.

They should have called it "The Helicopter Pilot" because he was a dead Air Force Chopper Pilot and they were using his brain to do this Source Code project to find out who bombed a train, to prevent the next bombing... The Helicopter Pilot because they screw with stupid brain/computer stuff just like The Lawnmower Man :)

But Source Code doesn't learn and doesn't change... Source Code is used to create a program and then it is done. The created program runs, the source code does not. The whole idea of using "source code" as the title, the name of the procedure, and continually saying it just makes this movie so much worse.
