How does Goodwin know the name Derek Frost in the second timeline?

Is it because Colter called her as Frost from the train or did she just know from the news?

I ask because after that call, Colter then takes a different phone from Frost's pocket and uses that for his text to Goodwin. Why does he use that phone and not Sean's?

Probably not to establish any relation between Frost's phone and Goodwin's one.

She knows the criminal's name because the protagonist wrote it in the SMS he sent her, that contains all the information about the prevented terrorist attack.
