Why did the villain not say something when the call is being made with a confession about him? Was he so freakin shocked that he got stopped that he didn't know what the heck to say?
"For us every day is Halloween." Sam Winchester in Supernatural
What could he have said? "I'm innocent"? Some defiant manifesto? He was a stereotypical repressed introvert who felt he was right and didn't need to tell anyone else about it.
Ok I should have specified Colter decides to give a confession to if I recall right the Police as he lies when making that call thar this is Terrorist bomber while giving a confession.
It shocks the hell out of me the Terrorist bomber never said something that this is a false confession, or the guy talking is not the terrorist bomber, and he's giving a false confession.
Yes he's busted but I don't understand why the hell he doesn't say something when Colter decides to give a false confession as he's pretending to be a terrorist.
The terrorist knows that when the authorities investigate based on Colter's call (which includes a mention of the van in the particular station parking lot), there will be evidence linking him to the van and the dirty bomb inside it. Even if the confession itself is found to be inauthentic, he knows his goose is cooked from the investigation the call will kick off.
To me, the bigger problem is Colter assuming nobody with keys on the train will find and free the terrorist before Colter's phone tip gets worked back to the train.
