The White Walkers = Terminators
It was really disappointing to find out that the White Walkers were simply malfunctioning (and apparently mindless) weapons that the Children of the Forest created to fight their war against humans, thousands of years ago.
It also reminded me of the Guardians and Manhunters from “Green Lantern”.
