and ask yourself why they skipped the dramatic reveal of Dany's assassination to her loyal warriors -- in a finale that would typically cash in on such things.
It's easy. They couldnt sell you the idea of anything but instant doom for Jon in a scene. It would be laughable for Grey Worm to do anything but the worst to Jon. So instead they skipped to a distant post mortem where we're supposed to imagine that it worked out in some way besides instant death for both Jon and Tyrion. Ridiculous when they had just shown a clash between Jon and Grey Worm simply for grabbing his arm. Yet Jon becoming the Queen Slayer only results in him being locked in a room
It’s beyond ridiculous, especially considering that the Unsullied were ready to gut Jon for merely attempting to interfere with their murder of prisoners.
that's what I meant by "grabbing his arm". They drew on him for that. The Unsullied and the Dothraki were Dany's crew. They tolerated Jon and the others simply b/c she wanted that. Once Jon killed her, there would've been a blood bath for him and anyone perceived to be in his corner, like the Northmen. The Master of War delivering only the stink eye to Jon is a joke.
