Given that the majority of GOT fans are disappointed with the last season, do you think that HBO is going to scrap the prequels?

Majority of GoT fans are disappointed with the last four seasons (with the exception of maybe season 6). I am beginning to think that anything that doesn't have an ample amount of GRRM source material isn't worth watching.

The enthusiasm for the prequels has almost certainly declined significantly after season 8. It definitely would need different writers in order for people to care.
