So why aren't they sending Arya to assassinate Cersei?

They established pretty blatantly that Arya is an expert assassin and fighter. She murdered every Frey and killed the Night King, and everyone including Dany is aware of her skills. And Cersei is on her list. So why exactly is she not the number one choice for the job? She has intricate knowledge of KL's underground tunnel systems as established in season 1. She can change her face to look like whoever she wants, or has that fact been dropped by the show now?

She's already going on her own with the Hound to King's Landing to kill Cersei.

As to why she wasn't "sent" by Jon or Dany, they're not aware of the scope of her powers. The only one that might have some idea is Sansa, but can you really see Sansa telling Arya what to do?

She's already plenty motivated to kill Cersei on her own so it's not like she needed Sansa telling her to do it.

Nobody tells Arya what to do! Not to mention both Jon and Dany are suddenly too whiny and stupid to think of it.

But she's not going to kill Cersei, they won't let her take out both Cersei and the NK.

I can't wait to see Jaime kill Cersei, then pull off his mask to show he's really Arya. Then pull of that mask to show he's really Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible, who turns out to be an immortal Faceless Man.
