Arya and the Hound stumble around the Riverlands for like two seasons...

Yet everyone gets to King's Landing or White Harbor and then Dragonstone in one scene these past few seasons. So irrirating.

And despite everyone zipping all up and down the continent, Cersei's pregnancy still isn't even showing after everything that's happened. So it's not even time skips, it's just carelessness.

Yep, same level as Maggie's pregnancy in Walking Dead. They never show it, yet she's pregnant for months and years and nothing. This is what happens when writers have no passion for what they're working on, and the Starbucks cup and dark mode for "creative purposes" only magnifies that lack of passion.

Pretty sure they introduced teleportation at the end of season 6 ...

which is why the show is suddenly fast paced and everyone can get anywhere they want as long as they have teleportation powers

That makes sense.

Wish we would have at least one scene showing them casting a spell to open a portal.

Don't know if that's better than in the early seasons when every season they would say in an early episode that something at the end of it was going to happen "in a fortnight" ie two weeks and then pretend like a year has passed every season afterwards.

The passage of time on this show has always been a joke.

Seasons that can last a generation and instant travel. Sounds like every modern Bethesda game
