Sure looks like Dany is being set up to die in the end by an act of treachery, any way to avoid this?

Does Varys really think he can orchestrate Dany's death to put Jon on the throne and avoid Jon lopping his head off when he finds out?

Varys is slated for death by the end anyway, Melisandre told him to his face.

Does anyone actually think Dany will survive? I put it at about 80% against the chances of her survival.

Team Daenerys should have died in ep 4 when they were in full range of the archers.

Yeah I'd go higher too but that would be conceding this show is getting far too predictable. That 20% is just my fading hope they won't follow through with what they've been overtly forecasting all season.

I suspect Vary's (or his death really) will be the catalyst that causes Tyrion to push for Jon's claim to the throne. With so few episodes left, my main concern is that none of this will be able to play out in any fashion that will satisfy the viewer. As much as I hate to say it, at this point it would be better if the writers just stick to the crappy hollywood ending that everyone has already guessed at.

She is down to one dragon now and that means she will keep it out of harms way as much as possible. The dragon is the only thing she has going for her. I also find her to be an amateur leader, pompous and pretentious. Happy to see her die.
