Why do you think that people will die?

There has been no indication that main characters will die, but everybody is naming who will die.

A lot of major characters will die before the final episode, and some more will die on the final episode.

This is Game of Thrones, the same show that killed Ned, killed Robb, killed anyone you're rooting for, and it's not going to stop just because the show is ending in 4 episodes.

Exactly it’s Game of Thrones. The people you named were killed out of the blue and surprised us. So now you expect it. It would be more shocking if nobody died.

I suppose if the Night King marched into King's Landing and made Cersei his Night Queen, as some others have suggested, I'd still count that as a death. :)

doesnt really work that way, does it?

people theorize b/c it fits the history of the show. expect casualties.

expect the dead army to walk right up to winterfell, then walk right past it on their way to the south.

Because that's what happens in apocalyptic wars with armies of zombies, people actually die.

Maybe because an army of like 100,000+ just showed up on the doorstep of Winterfell. Likely thousands of the living will be dying next week.

A nice wedding when George is writing: main characters dropping like flies
The end of the world when George isnt writing: 12 inch thick plot armor all round
