not smart of Cersei to use Bronn

unless there is more to that , chances are Bronn will side with Tyrion after a counter offer is made if thats necessary at all.

reply

Tyrion and Jaime had enough sense not to go pulling him out of the brothel during the "moment of truth"

reply

Yes, Bronn goes where the gold is. So we'll see...

reply

But when faced with the existential choice last season of recovering his fallen bag of gold or swooping Jaime from his suicidal matador run at a dragon, Bronn turned his back on the gold to save Jaime's hide.

reply

Lannisters always pay their debts. And one bag of gold pays less than Jamie would, including the castle Jamie promised him after the bag of gold and the end of the war.

reply

Good point! I had forgotten that scene! He chose someone else over the gold! I hope the writers remember that.

reply

I figure there had to be a reason the writers included a scene like that. Checkov's gun et al.

reply

This is all because Lena Headey is so petty that she can't work with someone she had a relationship with. That's why you never seen her and Jerome Flynn in a scene together. Like when Bronn left the dragon pit. That's how unprofessional she is.

reply

Jerome Flynn may have the same clause in his contract as well, so it isn't just Lena being "unprofessional".

There may be a lot more to the story than the press has mentioned. I find it best to leave these sort of stories alone.

reply

Don’t act like you know Lena Headey, you loser. You’re just recycling gossip

LOL

reply

You would think one of the wealthiest people in the world would just pay the Faceless Men to do it.

reply

This would seem to make the most sense, guaranteed murder for hire being their entire reason to exist

reply

The Faceless Men charge exorbitant fees...

reply

Cersei can afford exorbitant fees.

reply

The price is always high or dear, but within the means of the person if they are willing to make the sacrifice. The cost of their services also depends on the prominence and security of the target

reply

No, it actually makes sense to use Bronn, who was a pal and boon companion to both Tyrion and Jamie.

He can win their trust and get them drunk, when a stranger could not.

reply

Maybe it's not the real Bronn, but a faceless man wearing Bronn's face.

reply

I doubt any Faceless Man can party like Bronn!

If your goal is to get two idiots drunk and kill them, Bronn is the man.
