I'm on book two. Jon has a terrible scared up hand full of burn marks. Isn't he Targaryan? Why is Jon burned in the book? I don't remember Jon being burned in the show? Even if he was; he's like the dragon queen no?
shareHe gets burned in the show, when the wight comes to attack Lord Commander Mormont, he is burnt by grabbing a lantern. Jon is not a real dragon, he is part wolf.

There may be some sort of fire magic in the old Valeryan blood of the Targaryans, but if there's any reality to it then it's been diluted and corrupted by inbreeding over the centuries (I think Mad King Aerys's belief that wildfire would turn him into a dragon is a hint at it). I think the way it showed up in Danerys is a sign that she's the Prince Who Was Promised.
