If the white walkers don't win, how anti-climactic would it be?
I want more than anything to see the great hall end up exactly as it did in Dany's vision during the house of the undying. Cold, quiet, covered in snow and desecrated. The final shot of the series with the camera pointing straight at the iron throne, the sound of boots in the background, suddenly seeing a dark figure walking towards it. The night king sits down, and stares straight into the camera before fading to black. I want it so bad.
