Jon really ought to tell Sansa and the Lords of the North that they're now backing the dragon queen's invasion.

Won't they be surprised when they find out what side they're on!

reply

I doubt they care a long as they stay out of the North and don't have to send men to fight.

reply

That's why he was so hesitant to bend the knee in the first place. He also hasn't had a chance to tell them in person which is the only way should.

reply

Since it only takes a dragon a few hours to fly from Dragonstone to Winterfell, he ought to have Danerys give him a lift on dragonback, so he can introduce her to everyone and tell his vassals where they stand.

It'll impress the hell out of everyone, so will a polite and beautiful queen in a really smashing fur coat, and so will a demonstration of the dragon's power. Surely there's a patch of forest that needs clearing somewhere nearby?

reply

I doubt that the North would follow Jon. They are already displeased with him, and he is terrible at convincing people (mainly because he doesn't actually say anything).

reply

By the time Jon comes back to Winterfell they'll probably have the dead bearing down on them and would be more receptive to having a couple fire dragons on their side.
