The NK is pretty non-discriminating when it comes to recruiting the living people he kills so it would make sense.

shareWhy would you wish that on anyone, let alone a character as pure, lovable and, frankly, noble as Hodor? Is it horrid? Yes. Does it serve a dark narrative? Yes, certainly. Is it cool? Only if you are an asshole.

Everyone on this board is massively over sensitive about everything. Its not personal. It makes sense. Their army goes stronger by bringing back everyone they killed.

And be a game-changer. Remember the battle of Hardhome, where the wildling chieftain lady couldn't raise her sword against zombie children and it got her killed? It's moments like that that make the difference between a good show and a great one, and if Hodor can provide a great scene then hell yeah bring him back!
