Stark family meetup...

What an eerie sight after witnessing them all together at the beginning to where they are now. The cold snow, the music, the 3 walking together (well one being wheeled around). All those lost within the family and only missing Jon for a full family reunion. Speaking of which, Benjen Stark is another survivor I think north of the wall. No mention of him much. Guess he isn't much of a Stark to be remembered by. :p

I think Sansa is jealous that everyone had developed skills except her and that she's still protected by Littefinger in a way. Everyone else got fighting skills or other beneficial skills. Did you see the look on her face after the Arya and Brienne sparring concluded?

reply

no I think Sansa was just amazed at how her little sister has become such a good fighter and realised she wasnt joking about killing Cersei.

It's just plain weird seeing them together like that. 6 seasons of them trying to get home, missing eachother by this much... Somehow, I just don't feel comfortable with most Stark kids being in the same place.

Sansa has become savvier in the political game, so I wouldn't say she hasn't developed any new skills. But I can't figure out what her look meant. She didn't look too happy, whatever she was thinking though.

I'm waiting for Jon to come back home. Think I just might shed a tear or two (or three) when he sees the rest of them.

Do have a question. When Bran said he saw Arya at the crossroads. Need a refresher. When and where was that?

reply

That was S7E2, after Arya talked with Hot Pie and he said Jon was King in the North now. At least, I'm pretty sure that's the scene they were referring to.

reply

Did I miss it, or has everyone except Arya seemed kind of blasé about being back in their childhood home? I'd expect them to be running around, looking at their old bedrooms and stuff.

reply

No, you're right. Then again, Sansa was brought back to Winterfell to marry Ramsay, and Bran is emotionless in general now. Jon did mention something about sitting in the corner whenever the Stark family had feasts, and was glad to be with Sansa again, so he did have some reaction. Arya is definitely the most excited to be home.

reply

The show started with them all there, and now they're back...but they may as well be at a Holiday Inn for all the sentimentality they've shown!

reply

😂
I think they showed a bit more emotion than that, but you certainly have a point!

She was very impressed, and remember she's become a manager now, a ruler... I think she'd realized that little Arya had become an asset! But even before that, in their first couple of scenes together, I got the sense that the two of them were becoming a team, a team that didn't include Bran (for reasons beyond his control).

And remember, a ruler or a manager doesn't need superpowers, their job is to figure out how to use the superpowers available most effectively.
