Those 2 scenes were awesome, after Littlefinger gives that whole speech about seeing everything all the time, in his mind, Bran comes home and now Sansa has someone who can do that for real.
To me, Littlefinger is a cliche of way too many sly characters conspiring behind the curtains. Sometimes it's even hard to differentiate his personality from Varys' since they are so similarly written. I suppose Saul Goodman is made out of the same cloth, or perhaps Gustavo Fring or Walter White.
It's a pity he's not more like book Baelish. Ugh, don't mean to have a whine about the books... It's just that people seemed to like him in the books, he was trusted. Everyone's wary of show Baelish.
Littlefinger must feel lost living in the North. There's not much for him to do, his talent for plotting and scheming is mostly useless now. He's a type of person that thrives in the capital city, surrounded by other plotters and schemers of his caliber.
That's why his speech to Sansa sounded like it was given by someone retired, remembering his glory days that are over forever.
Arya doesn’t have him on the list, she doesn't know what he has done to her family.
At least, not yet. If she learns about it, it’s of course possible that she adds another name to that list…
Oops, my bad. I forgot he wasn't on the list.
Sansa basically gets fed up with Littlefinger's schemes and order his execution, which Arya will carry out with joy :D but that won't happen until a couple more episodes.
That was a touch clumsy, Littlefinger tells Sansa that the secret of being a successful politician is to "see everything", and then her brother comes back and tells her that he can "see everything". Sansa's about to come into her own!
And if she's REALLY smart, she'll tell everyone that Bran is batshit crazy as well as a cripple, and even if he will never be able to claim his birthright and rule the North, she's going to take care of him for the rest of his life like a good big sister. That way, she'll be the only one who can make use of all the secrets he knows.
Or send her home with fulsome thanks, a very important letter for her father, and a warning that Winterfell is going to be a horrible dangerous place for years and years. The Reeds live very isolated lives in their swamp, they don't communicate much with important people.
