infact i would say its gonna take a miracle for this season to top the previous season.
id say this season will fall harder than season 5.
It's only the first episode, just warming up the rest of the season. We literally have no idea what's about to happen, because the show has outpaced the books. It's too early to say.
shareIMHO much of last season was blah, but since it finished with some really AWESOME KICK-ASS stuff I'm willing to forgive all the less-awesome stuff. Okay, I'm not willing to forgive Arya being stabbed in the abdomen and falling into a filthy canal and getting up and sprinting through the city after a lady put some band-aids on her tummy, there's a limit. But I still give last season a thumbs-up overall.
But there have been better years, and I don't see why this year couldn't be one of them. Am very hopeful after the first episode, which had some really good scenes and good filmmaking.
It won't ... this is the last season and they have mushroomed the show out so wide that to pull it all back in and resolve it is going to feel rushed and artificial ... at least that is what I am feeling after the first two episodes.
shareShouldn't be rushed. There will be like 7 eps this year and 6 or 7 in the final year. But the final year's episodes will be 80 - 90 minutes(movie length features). So they will have plenty of time to wrap things up.
