This should have been, straight to dvd, got 'A' from roger ebert!
I rest my case!
shareYeah, because the DVD contained the director's cut which was AWESOME!
I can't believe they compromised the movie so much for the version in cinemas:
- The husband is killed by drowning while Salt is forced to watch? That's horrible. Let's have him shot instead because that's MUCH nicer and who cares if it ruins the whole emotional tension of the scene.
- Oh no you can't kill the President! You're having him be replaced by a Russian sleeper at the end of the movie. DEFINITELY NOT!
Jeez no wonder people didn't like the theatrical version. Stupid Hollywood politics.
