Was she supposed to cry when they killed her husband

And the other HUGE flaw with the movie. This assasin that has been trained since a young girl. Has her husband shot in front of her to see who side she on? Hmmm, well if she was even worth having on thier side. They wouldnt have a clue how she felt! BINGO!So why do it. That scene was comical. So too see if she still on your side? You shoot the man she so-call loves. Well, thats a good way to make her not on your side, if she had any second thoughts? You just made her choice. And if she was mad at them for doing, what was she supposed to do? Get upset and cuss them out and shoot the 10 guys pointing guns at her (although, that scene would have been more relistic then the 10 other fighting scenes in them movie). Best killer there is and they think she would show emotion at that moment? Never seen a movie with such huge flaws in it. The worse.

The idea was that if she wasn't on their side she would try to stop them or show extreme reluctance. It was to prove her commitment to their ideals that she would sacrifice her western husband for the triumph of Mother Russia.

Of course, there's not much opportunity to really read her poker face if they just quickly kill the husband with a bullet. That's why the director's cut has them slowly drowning her husband with her stone cold face being the last thing he sees. It was a really powerful scene. Too powerful I guess, since it seems that test audiences must have felt it was too much.

Yeah, that version was really rough, still it was a powerful scene, especially seeing Jolie slowly tearing up.

Lol, wow! This movie is one of the better ones worth watching over again. Your critisism is shocking. If I'm going to slam a movie, I won't touch creative choices. The over-all quality of this film is A+.

The real test would've been to make her kill him.
