alternate "Al Pacino" scene missing?

Just rented the DVD after seeing it on HBO years back

I could swear there's a scene where drug gang members start ripping on Alpa Chino for not being the real "Al Pacino," and start reciting Pacino flicks at him until the shooting starts

I even found a transcript online confirming it

But it's not in the DVD version I just saw. Was it only on cable? Or is it part of the "director's cut"?

Anyone remember this bit?

I know this is part of the director's cut, as that is the cut I have, but i after some research, it looks like that part may only be in the DC.
