I thought this was the worst most stupid movie ever made

It was released in 2008 and none of the previews were able to tempt me to watch it, plus the fact that I am not a fan of Ben Stiller did not make me want to watch it.

Then a few days ago I noticed it was on HBO and I recorded it. I just finished watching it a few minutes and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. I do not know if it was because I had low expectations to begin with but if you have not already seen it by now I suggest that you give it a chance because you may like it.

I want to win the Nobel Peace Prize so bad that I would kill to get it

It's because it's friggin' original and funny as hell and extremely well made.

I agree with each of you, I hated it myself, after watching it 3 more times since it came out, I think it's great

Great you gave it a chance. I accidentally slipped into it when it was on TV and was hooked in a wink. Otherwise I probably never would've watched it. Thanks to fate.

So glad my BF kept this on despite my protests, and told me to STFU when I begged him to keep looking for something better.

He fell asleep, and I restarted it from the beginning after watching the last half. Today. It came out 8 years ago but is still original hilarious.

Stiller is hit or miss for me. Lately I've had more of an appreciation for his movies like Zoolander. Hated it the first few times but the movie hasn't changed. The only conclusion that I can draw from thie is that I used to suck.

It took a matured sense of humor to appreciate such immature material in my case.

The movie is so much better when you truly appreciate what it's doing and who it's making fun of. I've always loved movies that use big Hollywood dollars to shit on Hollywood. Popstar and Scream 3 are two other great examples.
