to escape. First, when he started walking to get to the road and Trudy drove up behind him. He could have easily overpowered her and taken the car. Then when he went with her father to the store, he could have easily tricked him into getting the car keys. Overall it was an enjoyable holiday movie.
shareI agree. I guess the guy was raised to not hit women, or hurt them in any way. Although when he went back to the gas station, even though he couldn't get the clerks help, he could simply refuse to go back.

It is easier to get into a movie if it is made better. I understand you should suspend disbelief but at some point they should take the time to cover these issues.
