The first 20 minuets are slow,
but after that it's a non stop kickass movie.
Another Liam Neeson film I love is The Grey.
Taken is still one of my favorite action movies ever! Too bad the sequels severely paled in comparison. Haven't seen The Grey, but I'll check it out sometime. I've heard good things about it.

Five Minutes Of Heaven (2009) is a powerful drama.
Though'I don't think he's done anything since to surpass 'Taken.

@Z-Dizzle I don't know why two posters on this thread are recommending The Grey on a Taken board. They're nothing alike.
The Grey is more of a philosophical movie - with wolves. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's completely different from Taken. They may as well have recommended Rob Roy.
You'd be better off watching Non-Stop instead, which is similar to Taken:
