Yeah, I notice it as well. Maybe it's because it's effective, but even in an action movie gets sort of repetitious after a while.

It's a very quick and very effective move to incapacitate someone. I suppose it is more realistic in the context of the film that he'd go for that move repeatedly to disable his opponents. He's not really interested in dragging out fights because of the rapidly decreasing time window for finding his daughter.

It must be so effective. If im rolling up on a guy and he punches me in the face that's one thing but chopping me in the neck i would be on the floor gasping for breath while he beat the *beep* out of me. Literally if anyone tries to attack me i amgoing to try and chop them in the neck and see for myself.
