Guess im the only one

but i really dont like Chuck the person. not the serie, serie is fun to watch, good laughs, action, drama, etc etc
But the person Chuck? This coming from a guy, but he has sort of good looks ... i guess. Chuck says the right things at right times what makes him wooptidoo with the ladies, or so they make you want to believe, makes one uber move after another that beats heavy @55 criminals again and again, and of course lets not forget, got kicked out of Stanford for something (OF COURSE) he did not do.
Basic line, the perfect perfectness ... hiding out at a place thats reserved for the scum of the earth, such as a Buy More. Possibly to put his perfect perfectness into shine? I really DO NOT like people like this. The charming good looking, good talking, outer shine and bright and rotten to the core ... simply because they prey on people who think they dont have it and feed of it to come out better.

If i was Morgan, id kicked that *beep* out a long time ago. the guy is lying into his face since episode one, got caught on lies more then once, and thats what passes to the Chucks of this world as "best friend". Even to his sister ... Yes, its covert, and secret and all that, ... guess i make a lousy secret agent. Im not making that rotten lying, deceiving, betraying, that easily.

:O i would fit better in a place like Buy More ... the horror!:P

To addres your.. notions.

Chuck was a good looking guy? Sure. Good looking people can't work at low paying exploitative jobs? WRONG. Everyone has to pay their bills. Was he over qualified for the job? Yes. But after Jill CRUSHED him he really had no momentum. Then he was kicked out of Stanford and never really moved on. From there he found himself in a shiftless rut, but one he liked. He got to hang out with his best friend ALL day (he actually says this in a season 1 episode).

As to his lies? You mean tell them the TRUTH? Does anyone recall what the original plan was for Chuck? Put him in a deep dark hole until he cracked. That was it, just disappear him from the planet. Did he want that to happen to his best friend? His sister? Even though he had an affectionate not even a dislike.. but definitely he clearly liked Awesome but I think definitely resented his confidence and his ability to find his footing in every and ANY thing (which is fascinating as we find out this isn't quite so true later on). But would he want to see Awesome locked away for knowing his secret? So yes. He lied. It actually was a major dilemma for him for so long keeping his secret from his family and friends.

Wow. I find your vehement dislike of Chuck a bit OTT - why would you call staff at places like the Buy More "scum of the earth?" Yes, Jeff and Lester are not the likeable, but they are comedy characters. Plenty of people work at places like that just to earn an honest day's pay, so it's not that nice to name call.

As for Chuck lying - what choice did he have? He didn't ask for the intersect, and spent the first two seasons wanting it out of his head. He kept it from those he loves to protect them.

If I was in his spot I wouldn't completely let my best friend either. He was beaten, shot, etc throughout the series, but ended up being a good agent. What about his friends and family? They'd never be equipped for the life he was in. Of course he had to deceive people. It's not like he enjoyed it.

As for the "scum of the earth" *beep* Why are you shaming someone just for working at a place that most self entitled idiots look down upon. I'm sure you have friends or family that work at Target or even white trash McDonalds.

Thats what the show makes em to look like ... didnt mean its my opinion.
