No offense to her but she left her family to help clean up her husbands mistake and then spent 20 year! trying to do what? Chucks Dad too like a week to create an intersect to remove the intersect so why did it take both of them so long to fix things. And then Chuck and Sarah fix it in a few months. Just makes me think Chucks mum was a pretty terrible spy, but very good at not putting out.
shareit sorta seemed like they "sent" her to watch over Volkoff. I cant remember exactely what was said but I think there was a mention of it when Volkoff finds out his true identitiy.

I just watched the series again and it seemed that she went out to get close and find a way to keep him and everyone out of trouble, but 20 years for her and her husband to fix their mistake is fixed in months by their son and daughter in law. It is not a good enough reason to destroy their family over it.

You do realize that his father worked on the intersect a LONG time ago. Pretty sure you're educated enough to know that technology has advanced a ridiculous amount since his father worked on it. Sarah and Chuck had 2x the technology his father would have had.

Yeah I was thinking something similar awhile back. So far as her keeping an eye on Volkov and keeping him out of trouble..... He ran the biggest arms supplier in the world providing weapons and tech to the Ring, Fulchrum, Likely every enemy they ever faced along with terrorist groups likely. I mean he made billions in a business of doing very bad things. Then whatsis name was able to erase the Volkov identity fast and easy. Wonder how many lives could have been saved if used papa Bartowskis device that Blocked Chucks intersect on Volkov/Winter....
