Routh on "Legends of Tomorrow"

On last night's episode of "Legends of Tomorrow," Brandon Routh's character Ray Palmer said, "I've always wanted to be a spy." I'm wondering if that was a clever nod to Daniel Shaw.

I thought the same thing when I heard him say it. They made a nod to Titanic - so I figure this one was intentional too.

Chris Fedak is a producer of Legends, actually. He probably wrote/suggested the line.

I also thought I heard Daisy call Fitz and Mac the Nerdherd in Agents of Shield.

They definitely used the term Nerdherd which I liked a lot.

In fairness, the term existed before Chuck started using it, at least if you believe the dates in Urban Dictionary.

Still, it's fun they use that reference.
