Where did the Governor go?

I hope he does get more opportunities - he's not dire at his craft and I think he can become pretty good. Plus he seems like a genuine person.

Personally, Chuck was special in the fact that when he had the first "pure" upload when he was a child, even his dad said he had a special mind. In one episode his dad actually tells him that he can flash when he wants to. In another episode, before we knew who his dad was, he tells Chuck that he put also put something in Chuck/intersect a long time ago, personally when first watched, made me wonder when, not how. And, yes staring with, before he put the watch on and was "down and out" supposedly because he was "gone/dying" yet after a moment or 3, he is up, he says something like "just had to reboot", and defeated Shaw who supposedly had a "better" intersect/upload than Chuck.

This also made me wonder, as when his dad again supposedly took out the intersect, yet his dad also watched/saw the "take out" but it did not take the intersect out of him, that makes me think that it was a method to trick Chucks brain into total relaxation in body and mind. There is a couple reasons think this. 1st is when that guy who has a name can not pronounce, who reversed enough to have a type of intersect in his glasses, not a full one just a type or else he would have at least fell over after upload or passed out and/or scrambled his mind as the way that fulcrum uploads if not outright killing him.

2nd, goes back to the original "pure" upload as a child, that was the 1st time, the 2nd time was the one Bryce sent, start of show, 3rd, he then had an reload/upgrade, again Bryce left "for a real spy", 4th, was the fulcrum test upload, 5th upload, was when fulcrum uploaded, they thought he was gone, like rest they did this to, so most others brains either scrambled or dead, again "special brain".

There were others that had some kind of reworked intersect, which is why could be completely taken out, and hearing them say something like "glad its gone and poor guy to have all that". Shaw, he was "nuts" anyway, (cant be just me who thought that), when finally removed, was not a "pure" intersect so removal done. The first ever try,was also not a "pure" one as had never been done, did not know would completely change personality and making the guy a power hungry nut. Chucks dad had reworked all that out making it "pure" (pure is the only way I can type as the personality changing was gone in that one Chuck uploaded as child and also made his dad realize his son was special, maybe part of why he disappeared, he did say he did to keep them safe, but I think Chuck has always had that original one, his dad saying he put something there long time ago, all the other uploads and "rebooting").

All those uploads after Chuck had already had the "pure" intersect from when was a child, yes did have some problems, but he was getting dreams that he knew Shaw was alive, special brain, starting with epi "Chuck versus the tooth" and the following ones when his dad comes back. Yes his dad was worried, as even though he knew his son was special, just did not know how special with all that had been uploaded, thus the governor/watch. That watch though, Morgan (the intersect story with him, ugg, just glad only few epis) his brain could not handle, watch would do little for him as did not have special brain and the upload was deliberately changed (though what it would have done to Chuck, would his special brain have handled, we will never know). Sarah, that one again was changed, though slightly different than the Morgan one, as Morgan used to love some stuff that after he did not, Sarah, she started to have some very unconscious memory. More to it as some thought ending was a "kick in the head", really ?, as there have been other shows that had horrid endings that really were a "kick", (how i met your mother, lost, seinfeld...though with 1st 2 shows i mentioned, himym, after couple epis, knew the ending and stopped watching, lost, good first few epis but I lost interest, the S one, really ?, some thought that was a good show ? Not).

Chuck the ending, reloaded with a good interest, yes one that some thought should have gone to Sarah, in a way agree as think Chuck still had that original in his head with the reload just bringing it out faster, and yes reload as glasses were a good type of reload. Watch/governor worn by Chuck, was just a bonus help to him, because he special, brain/mind, and as the show progressed, he was really coming into himself to really realize that. But some saying Sarah the feelings were gone and all that, well I think you could see that they were coming back. Yes, for her she was re learning feelings, as look how long it took her to see them herself, Corina saw them saying something like "I love to take something that Sarah wants even though she dont know it yet" and even Bryce saw it, asking Chuck what was he going to do about it, and telling Chuck you will do the right thing, you always do. Even nutty Shaw saw it, and last but not least, Casey saw and knew it too. (ok yes "about dam time" General Beckman knew). You could see that fight going on in her again, as she had unconscious memories and she even had her own words as you could see it as she watched herself talking about Chuck and all, then heading to that beach, asking from Chucks perspective all, she was relearning and rediscovering...reminded me of a couple who had been married for a few yrs before one was in a accident loosing all memory, and both of them rediscovering each other and relearning about love and that they could love one another again.

Yes, I really like this show, despite the ups and downs and campy unrealistically "uploads", I took the ending as a new beginning, our lives are always changing, we are not the same as we were even 1 year ago, and in 5 yrs, we will not be the same as today, and yup, true hard working real love never dies, just takes that hard work. Boy, typed enough, hope some of my thoughts made sense, agree or not, as was my thinking, and well, I do like to sometimes think outside the box, that and I like real tv shows (HATE REALITY CRAP) and movies of all kinds that let you think or laugh, cry, any and all emotions and use your imagination.
