Just finished watching this

The ending sucks to be honest. It doesn't fit with the vibe of the show. A simple ending would've been perfect for a show like Chuck. Nevertheless, it is a great show but I don't think I can watch the whole series again because of the ending. Cheers (y)

but the ending (to me) showed hope.

he can woo Sarah all over again, and she really seemed to want her memories back.

The ending makes me always want to watch it again from the beginning for just that reason. He needs to woo Sarah all over again, so I want to go back to the beginning and watch as he did it the first time.

The show never really knew if they were going to get picked up again each season, but still usually ended on a bit of a cliffhanger in some sense, even though they didn't know if they were going to be back to finish it. Although they knew on the final episode that it was the final episode, I think they were sticking with the theme, and still leaving it open for movie.

I think it ended well. Viewers write your own answer. Did Sarah get her memory back with the kiss, like Morgan said? Did she never get her memory back, and Chuck wins her over all over again and she gets to fall in love with him all over again as time goes on? Did she slowly start to regain some memories? You decide, because the story goes on and never ends.

Personally I believe that since the intersect "erased" her memories, and the intersect is a computer technology it works with the brain as though it is a computer. So looking at the brain as a computer, when you delete something from a computer, the information is still actually there. It doesn't really disapear and can be recovered. So I think Sarah's memories are still there, under the surface (like her memory of the porn virus) and things will increasingly make them recover as they go on more missions. But that's my theory and I like that everyone can have their own now.

Exactly....and as posted below, the memories are still there and can be recovered.

Chuck once told Ellie and Awesome that he had to "win Sarah over and over again...and again" and so the finale is in total keeping with the story of Chuck and Sarah. I do believe he won her again and she recovers some, if not all, her memories.

As they ended with them making out on the beach, I actually believe that:

1. Sarah really wanted her memories back and that is why she asked him to tell their story to her
2. After she shares their story, she really wants to "feel" the love she felt before and asks him to kiss her
3. For once Morgan was right, and Chuck giving her a kiss helped bring back some off the feeling
4. Sarah wanted more and I like to believe she asks him to take her home....and they spend each day winning more and more of her feelings back and adding new love on top which makes them even stronger.

And a final thought....perhaps Sarah started getting some memory back because why was she at the exact location where she and Chuck went on their very first date night (on the beach) and she told him to trust her? She had only been at the beach that time because HE led her there the first time. This time she went there because it was "their" spot. So something triggered her to go there. And she was glad he showed up and wanted him to tell their story (thus continue above with the rest of my post.)

Happy thoughts! :)

Chuck was an awesome show until episode 3x13. 3x14 was brilliant, but it started going downhill soon after. Yes, the ending with Sarah losing her memory was just moronic, but the whole season was lame anyway.
