Should i stick with it?

Just finished episode 5. Not in love with it like I thought I'd be. Does it get awesome soon? *she asked hopefully*

It gets better in the latter half of S1 and S2 & 3 are great! Yeah stick with it...I think you will find it gets really a lot better. The first few episodes were "establishing" a lot of things that eventually make sense starting around the 8th episode forward.

Ok, good. I will continue on. I was just finding the interactions between the characters a bit...flat? Boring? I dunno. Relationship dynamics are usually what drawn me in to a show (like Firefly or Alias or Orphan Black) and I had yet to see much depth, though there was that Mother's Day subplot with Chuck and Sarah that had a glimmer of it. But I've given up on shows too early before (Supernatural) only to discover later that I missed out. A new show usually takes half it's a first season to "find itself". I just wanted to make sure I wasn't waiting for a train that was never coming. :)

Chuck vs. the Alma Mater is where the show really took off. I don't want to spoil why, but you'll know before the opening credits. It meandered quite a bit in the first six episodes but then it found its footing and went into a full-on sprint that carried it through the rest of season 1 and all of season 2.

You are just getting to the point where Yvonne and the writers clicked on how to present the Sarah Walker character and who she was. That was a major thing. But from about episode 7 on there is the feel that the show has found that extra gear. Season 2 takes it to another level. Stick with it.

Well, if that's your main interest in the show, you should stick with it for sure. It's all Sarah and Chuck all the time from then on basically. Every damn plot point is there to make them talk about their feelings lol. It's pretty bad writing but you know... that's what the fangirls wanted so...

Actually, I meant to say Chuck and *Ellie*, but I forgot the sister's name.
I'm on season 4 now. I'm loving the characters. They're all pretty endearing. It's just a fun, silly show - which occasionally tugs on my heart-strings. ;)

Season three is probably the lamest thing I've ever watched on television!Except maybe for the final episode of season five, that one is nothing short of abysmal.

I watched it for the fun and action moments and I loved the chemistry between the two main characters. In my humble opinion, that was completely obliterated by the beginning of the third season.

The last episode of this show was so bad, it made me both sad and angry.

But you should always judge for yourself of course. Perhaps you completely disagree with me. People do that from time to time and I'm perfectly fine with that. 😁

Season one is kind of slow, but even better by second half. Season 2 is amazing. Season 3 the first half was a different dynamic all together (partly because of the fact NBC cancelled it after season 2 and brought it back that upcoming January), and the second half of season 3 is great. Season 4 was great. Season 5 had lots of hit and misses but still fun to watch. That being said, I rewatch the entire series once a year, and it doesn't get old, and there's really only a few actually not so good episodes compared to the rest of the show.
