It's not a Hollywood blockbuster. Maybe people were expecting it. Good low-budget film!

Agreed. I found all of the stories riveting and was devastated by the ending.

I thought there were many facets to the ending. People who thought it sucked probably were expecting action-packed, typicalHollywood, romanticised Mafia/Godfather-like saga, which this was not. And I'm glad it was like that.
