Failed to do its job. Inform

The story should be great. The book itself is great. However it took me three times to fully understand what was going on.

This may also be because I am in fact writing a dissertation on the Camorra myself therefore have began to understand the many arms of the Camorra more easily.

I just feel this film had the chance to reach out to so many people and inform. They made it confusing and scatty. Many characters looked the same, therefore differentiating between them was difficult.

I am obviously not saying it should have been made into a goodfellas style gangster film because this is not what it is meant to be. I just feel the object of the book and the film was to inform as many people as possible in order to make this an issue that people would be willing to fight. They shot themselves in the foot with the film by making it too confusing.
