What's the IMDB rating?
This is a great show. How come there is no rating on this website. I voted. I hope they keep this show going it's great.

IMDB has a really screwy rating system ... it doesn't just take everyone's ratings and average them. They are WEIGHTED to represent who ADVERTISERS like. So men 18-35 are more likely to have their votes counted. Additionally, there are super-voters ... these are people (usually men 18-30) who have voted on a plethora of things and then their votes get counted more, again.
In fact, some people's votes don't count at all.
So ... the more you rate things, the more likely it is your rate will count.
This is how it has been explained to me a number of times on other shows'/movies' boards.

I am a 50 year old woman and voted after the 2nd episode. I guess my vote didn't count either. Which is kind of ironic, considering I'm part of the demographic that actually lived through the era of this show.
shareThe IMDB has apparently chosen not to show the ratings of their users by not updating the user ratings for Swingtown. It states that it requires 5 users to vote and judging by what I have read here and people that I have talked to A LOT more than 5 people have voted. I talked to some people in the city where I live last month that have given the show between 8-10 STARS, and judging by what I have read here A LOT more than 5 IMDB users have voted but IMDB is refusing to show their own members ratings for this show.
Maybe the person at IMDB in charge of updating user ratings does not like the show and it is their way of helping to get the show cancelled.
Funny, I was wondering what was going on with votes. I voted...I thought I was the only one! I didn't know their system was so ridic though...ha, let's all complain...their has to be a "contact us" somewhere...
share......... the ratings will show when THE SHOW IS COMPLETED. duhhh... it still has a few episodes left of the season. and i hope to god season 2 will come out eventually. Im 18 and I voted 10/10.
shareMR duhhh.... All it says where you vote is "AWAITING 5 VOTES, nothing about votes not showing until the show is completed. I guess some people feel the need to add derogitory critisism when answering a post.
IMHO the duhhh... was COMPLETELY unnecessary!!

shareOk Mr. Duhhh, the seasons over and it seems to appear that the show has been cancelled which means according to your post the ratings should be up, BUT THEY ARE NOT.
Mr. Duhhh or IMDB- WHERE ARE THE USER RATINGS FOR THE SHOW????
