i bet with all the complaining about this movie no of you so called horror buff's even noticed the shot of the blue house across the street from the hair salon is the original myers house from the john carpenter's halloween.

If you check the location for filming, the salon scene was filmed in South Pasadena. So were scenes from Halloween.
I actually just saw this movie for the first time today and i can confirm that it is indeed the myers house.
shareI am a big fan of the Halloween Series.
Since Halloween 2, the original house was bought cheap and physically lifted to somewhere else (I dont exactly know where but that wont matter, somewhere in Pasadena).
The House was then painted and newly renovated. I learned this from a Behind the scenes documentary on Halloween 1978 Dvd features.
YES that is defintately the Myers House. I got so excited when I saw it for the few seconds. And why haven't they listed this fact in trivia???
