Why bother with a Sequel? What would you call it? Prom Night 2 - The Next Day? The killer is dead, the audience was bored to death, the cops were braindead, all of Donna's friends are dead, there is no one left.

If there's a sequel, then new story, new cast, new killer, and a twist ending. And maybe only a minor connection to this one, but this film being mentioned ever again is not important.

I got the feeling after watching the movie that they would set up Ronnie as the next killer. He would go after Donna as revenge for Lisa's death, since Donna is who the killer wanted all along.
